Dr. Ece Yurtseven earned her medical degree from Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine and completed her residency in cardiology at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Cardiology. She concurrently pursued a Master’s degree in Cardiovascular Science at University College London, where she also engaged in research activities at the Hatter Cardiovascular Institute. Dr. Yurtseven obtained her PhD in Molecular Medicine from the Department of Molecular Medicine at Istanbul University Aziz Sancar Institute of Experimental Medicine. Her research primarily investigates the molecular mechanisms underpinning cardiovascular diseases. Specifically, she conducts both experimental and clinical studies on atherosclerosis, dyslipidemia, vascular biology, vascular inflammation, and cellular signaling pathways, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in cardiovascular pathophysiology and therapeutic development.
