Dr. Alexandrina Burlacu is a leading expert in cell and molecular biology, with a focus on stem cell therapy for cardiovascular diseases. She earned her PhD in Biology in 2006 and holds habilitation for supervising doctoral studies. Her research emphasizes genomic and transcriptomic analysis of stem cells and myocardial remodeling. She has trained at prestigious institutions across Europe and the USA, including the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Karolinska University Hospital, and others. As a Senior Scientific Researcher (Grade I), she has coordinated more than 15 national and international projects, being recognized for her scientific excellence and leadership in regenerative medicine and cardiovascular research.
